Technical personnel in Occupational Risk Prevention, Quality, and Environment

This professional is responsible for ensuring compliance with an organization's Quality and Environmental Management System procedures, to guarantee that its products and/or services meet quality standards and environmental requirements. Additionally, they carry out Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) tasks, integrating them into the company's management in full agreement with the company.

OCCUPATIONAL RISK PREVENTION, QUALITY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST

Functions of personnel assigned by Tamgo:

Occupational Health and Safety

Manage and deliver training and information on ORP; develop risk assessments, planning, advice, and reports through periodic inspections in workplaces to detect risks and propose preventive measures; develop and monitor the OHS Plan.

Investigate accidents; carry out the CAE (Coordination of Business Activities); ensure document management (procedures, instructions, and documentation on OHS, etc.); participate in periodic meetings with the CSS (Health and Safety Committee); verify compliance with the ORP Law and applicable regulations, conducting audits and correcting deficiencies; manage and supervise the proper use of PPE (helmets, boots, gloves, hearing protection, etc.), promoting best practices and continuous improvement programs in occupational safety.

Environment and Sustainability

Preparation and monitoring of Environmental Management Plans and Waste Management Plans, as well as preparation of monthly reports. Conducting environmental training for own staff and subcontractors, identification, evaluation, and monitoring of legal environmental requirements.

Liaison with the Environmental Director and Environmental Supervisor, and identification and evaluation of environmental aspects. Monitoring of preventive and corrective measures to be implemented, document management and monitoring of environmental indicators, responsibility for potential environmental emergency drills, coordination with waste managers, and surveillance, operational control, and verification of legal compliance.

Quality and Continuous Improvement

Validate on-site data collection for record preparation, ensuring correct sample taking and execution of laboratory tests. Select applicable procedures and validate the organization and training of personnel in Quality systems.

Validate the correct source and condition of materials to be used, verifying their quality certificates, and verify the correct application of Procedures in processes and tasks. Review the opening of Non-Conformities for detected defects, understand the day-to-day work and incidents that occur, accompany and evaluate the activities carried out, administer precision equipment by controlling its calibrations, and develop, evaluate, and control material and service providers.
